Senior Team Captain Sofia Grossman capped her high school career on a “high note” at the Maryland State Championship meet. Her best High Jumping Day of the season came at the right time as she cleared four consecutive heights on her very first attempt and achieved her season best of 5′ 2″ to earn fourth place honors. She returned later in the meet to lead off the 4 x 400 relay in 62.8 seconds as the relay, also consisting of Sinead Claffey, Katie Feeney, and Olivia Miller placed 15th with their season best time of 4 minutes, 12,26 seconds.
Lindsey Moris, aided the Warrior cause as she Long Jumped 16′ 8″ to create her personal best jump in the finals of the event. Moris was 8th overall in the 4A division.
On day one of the meet, Rylie Johnson threw the Discus 101′ 11″ to earn 6th place for Sherwood.
