When the going gets tough, the tough get going. On Friday, at Baltimore County’s Agricultural Farm Park, the Sherwood Warriors got tough, and qualified for the Maryland State Championship Cross Country Meet.
Junior Seann Enright led the way for Sherwood as he placed 6th out of 72 runners with his time of 16:27.20. Enright was followed closely by Sophomore Jack Anderson who placed 11th, even as he ran with a slight cold and upset stomach.
The Warriors then followed their leaders with Joshua Bloomberg placing 33rd; Eamon Plante- 40th; Ian Gormley- 41st; Justin Hayes-Puttfarcken 48th and Justin Bloomberg 52nd. The score for Sherwood’s top five finishers was 131.
