The tandem of Eamon Plante and Sean Enright led Sherwood’s Boys team to an overall 6th place team finish in a crowded 19 team field at the Woodward Cross Country Relays on Sept. 7. In this meet, the top three tandems score for their school. Helping Sherwood round out their team’s score were Jack Anderson and Ian Gormley- 17th place and Justin Hayes-Puttfarcken and Noam Tuchman- 22nd place.

Freshman Michael Belen’s 17th place finish in a field of over 300 runners led the Sherwood First year runners. Belen’s time for the three mile, three loop course was 20:48, a fine time for the hilly Georgetown Prep course.

The Warriors next meet will be Tuesday Sept. 10. Sherwood will host Whitman in a Divisional Meet. The Boys race will begin at approximately 4:15 PM
