The Warriors won their first Divisional meet of the season on Tuesday Sept. 10. Sherwood’s Harriers, led by Senior Sean Enright placed four runners in front of Whitman’s first runner. Sherwood’s 5th runner placed 8th. Adding the places, 1 – 4 plus 8, gave the Warriors 18 points to Whitman’s total of 40. In Cross Country, the low score wins.

The top 7 runners for Sherwood were: Sean Enright – 1st; Jack Anderson – 2nd; Eamon Plante- 3rd; Noam Tuchman – 4th; Ian Gormley – 8th; Justin Hayes-Puttfarcken- 9th. Tuchman’s teammates felt his race, in which he passed 4 runners in the last 1000 meters of the race, was the most outstanding effort of the day. Several Sherwood runners also ran to personal best times on the 5000 meter course.
