Boys Varsity Cross Country · Anderson’s Twenty first place Leads Warriors in State Meet

  Place Points
Sherwood High School 15th 345

Sophomore Jack Anderson had one of his best, most controlled Cross Country races of the 2018 season at the Maryland State Meet. Anderson’s 21st place finish put him among the top 25 medal winners in the 4A competition.
Unfortunately for the Warriors Team, there was a gap of 21 seconds and 18 finishing spots between Anderson and his next teammate. The gap between the Warriors’ #2 man, Sean Enright and the next three Sherwood’s finishers pushed the team deeper down the depth chart of team scores. After scoring their first five finishers, Sherwood’s Harriers had 345 points and finished 15th out of 25 teams.

Conditions: Clear skies. Temperatures in high 30’s to low 40’s
Course- Hilly. Slow after rain the day before. Some muddy, slick spots
