Game Recap

What a hard, fought win for the Warriors! After a scoreless first half, freshman Ashley Button scored at the start of the second half, giving Sherwood a 1-0 lead. The rest of the game remained physical and competitive between both teams. Springbrook was able to get a few shots on goal in the last few minutes of the game, however, senior goalie Emma Shuster, had several far, hard clears. Shoutout to the Warrior defense consisting of Kyra Langbein, Hannah Lev, Danielle Russell, Sofia Velasquez, and Emma Shuster for their third shutout in a row! The Lady Warriors improve to 6-2. They will play again on Wednesday at Sherwood at 7:00pm against Blair. This will be their “Play For the Cure Game” where all proceeds will be donated towards cancer research. Come out and support the team! Way to go Warriors on another amazing game!
