Meet Recap

Sherwood’s Lady Warriors fell to Springbrook on April 4. Despite the loss, 38 girls posted season best efforts on a balmy afternoon at Sherwood.
Field Event athletes led the way as Senior Kiana Robinson won both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump, and Sophomore Sofia Grossman won the High Jump with her season best 5’0″ effort. Freshman Ayana Antoine’s Shot Put best of 26′ 6″ earned her third place.
Amy Guenterberg and Alexa Donaldson placed first and second in the 3200 run with Amy’s time of 13:04 being her season best.
Sophomores Alina Remond and Sinead Claffey earned second place points in the 100 meter dash- Remond, and 200 meter dash- Claffey.

Sherwood’s Track and Field Team will compete one more time before Spring Break when its members travel to Watkins Mill HS and the Jim Vollmer Invitational on April 8.
