Meet Recap

Sherwood’s boys team set 39 individual seasonal best efforts as they lost to Springbrook on Tuesday April 4. Top Sherwood performances on the sunny afternoon were made by 800 meter runner Justin Turner who ran 2:08.00 for second place; Devin Musumeci who placed second in the Long Jump with a 19’10 1/2″ effort; Junior Everett Stubblefield who won the Shot Put with his 37′ 10″ heave. Sophomore Hailu Daniel had an outstanding day as he won the 300 hurdles and placed second in the 110 High Hurdles. Mickey Daniel also had a season best Shot Put effort to earn the Warriors a point for his third place finish.
The Warriors will compete again on April 8 at the Jim Vollmer Invitational.
